If you read our FAQ you would already know, but just in case, the Elves are the ones who keep this whole machine running year after year. No-one knows how they got involved in the National Cipher Challenge in the first place, but there are rumours that Santa was looking for a way to keep them out of his hair as he made final preparations for the Christmas sleigh ride. They help out with the forum as well as maintaining the site and we couldn’t manage without them. If you hang around long enough you might catch a glimpse of them, but just like Christmas Eve, that is not really encouraged! Just be grateful that they are there and that they do such a good job!
