If you are not familiar with barred crosswords, as you can see there are no blank squares. They are exceptionally difficult to compile and we are lucky that such a gifted setter agreed to produce a puzzle for us. Their work can be found in major newspapers, so we are in elevated company!
Anyway, for those of you who didn’t avidly read Harry’s Christmas Miscellany (and why on earth not!?!), here is the puzzle again.
