All I can discern from this message on the bullet is that it’s contains te letters to make the word “flyoff”, “folly” etc. I’m not sure whether this is useful at all but it’s an interesting fact still!

After painstakingly and meticulously transcribing Case File 1.2 letter by letter with that font that looks somehow worse than my handwriting, I realised that it is an exact copy of 1B. It appears no new information can be gleaned from it, which is kinda disappointing. Now all that remains is to figure out the meaning of 1.1…

But you did get something from it I hope? Harry

Guys, you all talk about decoding and making anagrams of the inscription of the bullet, but what if what we should be doing this to the reverse? After all, the head of the bullet comes out of the gun first, which happens to be where the last letter of the the inscription is. How close am I Harry? Also, does the word “Stressor” mean anything to you?

It obviously spells FLYPF-GOLF, which is the name of a Finnish-Scottish fusion sport in which contestants try to hit a ball into a hole in the ice with flat wooden sticks.

BUSTED! Now I guess we don’t need the rest of the story! Harry

Sorry about the edit, but I am sure you understand. And let’s be honest, you enjoy noticing these things, and so will everyone else at this stage of the competition! Harry

I believe the bullet translates, using the Caeser wheel, to Roman numerals! It translates to a certain date (not sure if I’m supposed to say it here or not!)

For, I hope, obvious reasons we held this back a while. Congrats on finding it so soon! Harry and Jodie

Is that 1852, the year that Ada Lovlace died, or have I gone and mucked it all up?

    Waverley

For anyone enchanted by Ms. Warnes journey, Waverley claims to be the World’s last seagoing paddle steamer. Launched on October 2nd, 1946, Waverley post-dates the SS Pacific (1849) by one hundred years. Waverley was built on the Clyde and has a steel hull construction, unlike the timber hull of Pacific, but in many other respects, it is similar.

Waverley is presntly moored on the Clyde adjacent to Glasgow Science Centre, but will be heading around the British coast during 2025.

PS I hope I’ve got the right SS Pacific.
