Harry tells me that we need about 10 more volunteers to help proof-read Gaines’s book.
The ones we have are enthusiastic, but there are laws against slavery.Volunteers will receive an advanced copy of the book in both PDF and HTML formats, once all typesetting issues are resolved.
HTML will likely be ready around new year or in January, and PDF in the months after.
(Everyone else has to wait until the NCC starts again in fall of 2025.)Having already proof read a few sections each of around 10 pages or so, I would highly recommend volunteering. It only takes between 1.5 to 2 hours to read and compare the pages and note any issues found in an email. To make this easy for me to record, and for @_Madness_ to understand, I am taking a screen shot of both the original text and the translation with the error highlighted.
Go on … give a little back, you’ll feel good for participating!
