This ones a hard one, I am having trouble finding a coherent solution using a Polybius cypher. I have attempted many keys and variations on the grid, with no luck.

I’m the same. I’ve tried creating the Polybius cypher using numbers going one way, letters the other. I’ve tried combining one letter and one number, converting the letters into numbers and putting everything back together. etc. I just cant crack it!!! Anyone got any hints in the correct direction?

@MissCBroderick I’ve also tried all that and am as equally stuck. I know I’m missing something but i can’t figure out what!

I did what you all are doing and cracked the cipher! Maybe the issue lies elsewhere..

    Hi, guys.
Did you check out the case files?

For those with only a few hours to go:
To get the ciphertext that you need you should do a ‘Perfect Shuffle’ (look it up) on single characters.

I do like that hint! Thanks, Harry

The best things about the case files this year are the background paper images.

Glad you like them, but it does feel like a bit of a backhanded compliment! Harry

I didn’t mean to imply that I don’t also appreciate the choices of fonts.

    Ho Ho Ho! Harry
