That’s how many teams we have in joint first place as we head into the final Challenge this afternoon! We are all very excited to see how you get on with the final, and perhaps our most devious, ciphers. Of course we will be whittling this down to the four main prize winners, the four runners up and the Silver Medallists, so the final challenge is deliberately very hard. Not impossible, but hard.
Even 10A is difficult this time, as we are very intrigued to see what you make of it. We will give you a hint about what it is tomorrow, and then release some tips for it on the forum to show you how to crack it.
Challenge B is a different matter! Since prizes hang on your performance in that, we will be more organised with the hints, publishing a schedule for their release on the tips box on the Challenge 10B page when it goes live.
At least for the first week or so, the only hints for 10B will be published in the Case Files. When they run out we will consider publishing additional hints in the Forum. If you want to post one, feel free, but we will be holding them back and perhaps editing them to keep things interesting.
See you all at 3pm!
PS Don’t miss Harry’s Christmas Miscellany, published here tomorrow!
