Yeah this one seems quite rough all ideas i have had look like they don’t work
– i thought it could be a triliteral cipher but that didn’t make sense once i tried it (to many doubled up characters).
– Ideas of binary or morse also came to my mind with the one symbol as a separator between letters (I don’t think it looks to promising from a glance at how the symbols are arranged)
– Another idea between my group is that maybe some of the characters are meaningless but i don’t fully believe it (haven’t tried that yet though).
– Maybe a system like Roman numerals as case files 9.1 is another image of the bullet crates (which have been previously associated with them) again though this does not feel to promising although I have not fully tried it i think the idea is to broad (Like how to split them into individual numbers how to tell if XIX would be XI X or X IX)
– Or trying to find a way that blocks of |,\,/ these symbols could form a text written in ascii art
– Probably a good idea to divide ciphertext length by all other cipher answer texts average to get an estimate on hw many characters form one letter (This feels promising as a jumping of point. I only came up with this a the time of writing)
Usually the title is some what of a clue towards the answer but all the ciphers i could find that talked about number theory in there description didn’t seem to be applicable. I would love advice or get a nudge in the right direction about where to start.
